    Nachdem die Schweizer Metal Formation Royal Desolation 2019 mit Ihrer LP "Lost" - einer EP mit fünf aggressiven Metalcore-Attacken - zum ersten Mal international in Erscheinung traten, stellt das Quintett um Ludovic Bandelier nun ihr Debütalbum „Puppet dance“ vor.

    „Puppet dance“ enthält 12 Songs, die sich zwischen Metalcore und Modern Metal mit äußerst eingängigen Refrains bewegen. Kraftvolles Riffing, eine groovende Rhythmusgruppe und der punktuierte Einsatz von 80er-Synthie-Sounds bilden eine Mischung aus Härte und Melodie, die direkt ins Hirn geht. Das Growling und Shouting von Frontmann Raphael Schenk – der u.a. Corey Taylor und Mitch Lucker (R.I.P) von Suicide Silence zu seinen Idolen zählt und auch die meisten Texte schreibt – mündet, ergänzt durch den Clean-Gesang von Rhythmus-Gitarrist Nathan Zkinwalker, in eingängigen Refrains, die zum Mitsingen einladen.
